Thank you Jenna for hosting this fun Back to School sale linky! I love seeing what everyone else has found-it makes my shopping so much easier!
I find myself constantly looking for ways to help grow my students' social skills. Although we can't talk through every single possible social scenario with our students, this activity provides a structured framework for students to apply to any social scenario they encounter throughout their school day. It also provides 55 social scenario situations presented in a journal format in addition to a sports themed game format. This activity would cover your social skills group for an entire school year, and if you have students that aren't writers-scribe for them! I like to scribe for my students anyways so we can work collaboratively to complete activities as a group! There is a black and white only option, in addition to a colored option! Click on the cover page below to check it out!
Phonological awareness is an area that we know is essential to academic success. We also know that students with speech and language impairments are considered to be at risk for deficits in this area. I spent the past school year working on phonological awareness skills with EVERY student I saw with an articulation or phonology goal (yes, ever my 6th graders). I was amazed to see the progress that was made with targeted instruction in this area over a few short months! I created two phonological awareness activities that I am SO excited to share with you. Sound Stompers targets beginning and ending sounds while getting your students up and moving while the No Print Phonological Awareness activity targets beginning sounds, ending sounds, rhyme identification, rhyme invention, syllable identification, phoneme segmentation, and phoneme manipulation.
Bingo is one activity that both my students and I always agree on! I love it because it provides a fun venue for working on targeted skills, and my students love it because they get to play a game! I also really like using Bingo during large group, push-in therapy sessions in special education classrooms. It keeps everyone on task and engaged! My students love Bingo so much that I decided to dedicate a lot of time to making a variety of themed Bingo games. Purchasing this growing bundle saves you a bundle! There will be 12 Bingo games total when this bundle is done. Each Bingo game will be available in my TPT store for $3.00 each, but if you purchase the bundle you will get a 20% discount compared to buying each game individually. Plus, if you grab it now you will get an even better deal, but scoop it up quickly if you are interested because as more games are added, the price will go up!
The last activity is my all-time favorite activity I have ever made for my students! It gets students up and moving and targets following directions, rhyming, segmenting, syllable identification, WH Questions, naming, categories, functions, composition, vocabulary, adjectives, nonfiction text questions, articulation, and sequencing!
