There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Bell-Speech and Language Book Companion

I LOVE the OLD LADY BOOKS! I also love theme units.  That is why I created this book companion to  There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell. This book companion targets a wide variety of speech and language goals/objectives including: sequencing, story retell, grammar/syntax, multiple meaning words, following directions, concepts, verb tense, social skills, WH question/auditory comprehension of story, expressive language (adjectives, descriptors, attributes, categories, part/whole, object functions).  There is also two open-ended reinforcement pages that can be used to target ANY speech and language goal.  They are especially great for articulation! You can grab it in my TPT store HERE

Here are some examples of activities in this packet!

This is one of the verb tense worksheets.  There is one worksheet for regular past tense and one worksheet for irregular past tense.

Here's the multiple meaning word page. The double check boxes allow students to feel success even if they are only able to fill in one of the two checks.

Here's one of the grammar/syntax pages.  The stimuli cards that go with this mat include both plural and singular words.  Students need to choose to use a/some and then use the correct vocabulary word and determine if it is singular or plural.

Here's one of the open ended reinforcement pages.  I LOVE to use these with my articulation students.  I have my younger students color in the circles or use the magnetic circles to cover them all then the magnetic wands to "magically" pick them up.  My older students LOVE using the bingo dabbers with these types of activities.

As you can see there is something for everyone in this book companion....I hope you can find it useful in help engaging your students while meeting their speech and language goals!
