Turtle Power!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fabulous New Year's Eve and are enjoying your New Year's Day off! I love my job, but I am not looking forward to returning to it tomorrow....I have fallen in love with winter vacation! As a happy New Year's gift to all of you I am going to have my two newest products, Yahtzee Like Articulation Game Bundle, and Turtles Elementary Language Unit are both going to be on sale for 50% off for the rest of the day (get to them quickly by clicking on the purple links above). Maybe purchasing one of them and looking forward to using it with your students will help you ease back into school after the break...I know that they are both helping me have a better attitude about getting back to the grind. I also wanted to let you all know that I have my email subscription set up now, so please subscribe-box you type your email in is on the right side of the blog text...there IS a surprise treat  for anyone who subscribes in the month of January...so go ahead, knock subscribing to a blog off your 2014 bucket list!
Turtles Elementary Language Unit
I am so excited about my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles inspired elementary language unit. It targets multiple meaning words, regular past tense, irregular past tense, and analogies. It includes stimuli cards as well as a game board (two versions, one "prettier" version and one to help you save on color ink).  The "game" is played similar to CandyLand in the sense that you move your playing piece to the next turtle that matches the color of the turtle on your stimuli card (I like using very easy to play games with students to avoid distraction).

I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when I was younger.  So much in fact that I have been Michelangelo for 3 on 3 basketball tournaments and Halloween.  Bedsides Ninja Turtles, I am a HUGE Minnie Mouse fan. When I was younger I also loved the Sesame Street gang and CareBears. What are some of the characters you LOVED in childhood? Share them in the comments!
