Here are my labors of love from this summer.....
1. Emotions Mega Unit: I created this unit to expand my students' vocabularies in the area of emotions beyond happy and sad to help them more accurately identify and communicate their emotions and the emotions of others! All student activities have been created in black and white to save you money on ink. The classroom posters and interactive poster are available in color.
2. This or That: An Opinion Activity: This activity (in two different formats) was created as a fun way to start conversations, discuss the differences between facts and opinions, allow students to share their opinions, and provide a venue for taking another person’s perspective when they don’t share the same opinion. The Common Core State Standards dictate that students must be able to articulate their opinions in their writings so talking about them is a great place to start!
I also bundled all my elementary social skills activities into an Elementary Social Skills Bundle to save you money! Check that out here if you are interested!
There are also a ton of awesome resources from other amazing SLP authors in my cart! Here they are:
1. Apraxia and Phonological Disorder Survival Pack Bundle by The Speech Space. I am so excited about this bundle for a few reasons. First off, Apraxia is relatively uncommon but so are quality Apraxia resources. These quality resources are also VERY much needed when you do have the opportunity to work with a child with Apraxia. Secondly, phonological disorders are common on elementary school caseloads and I am always looking for fun ways to get in lots of trials!
2. Speech and Language Brag Tags by Speech to the Core. I love these adorable brag tags that Lindsey created! Brag tags are a great way to not only reward your students, but they are also great to promote carryover because chances are both teachers and students will ask your students what the tag is for which gives your students a chance to shine!
3. Harry Potter and the Scorer's Stone Book Companion by the Pedi Speechie. This book companion looks awesome for students with higher-level language skills. Talk about a great way to engage students to target a variety of skills by reading an amazing and age-appropriate, and relevant book!
4. 2015-2016 Editable SLP Planner by The Speech Attic. I struggle with organization-I am so excited to use this awesome resource to help me start out the year on a positive note!
5. Take & Go: Cause & Effect Task Card Ring by Speech Wonderland. Actions have consequences-what?! I can't wait to have this handy resource to use during my speech and language groups this school year! I love resources that I only have to prep one time, but can use over and over with a variety of students!
Thanks for stopping by! What's in your cart?!? Make sure you check out the rest of the linky HERE!
Enjoy your next few weeks off ! I am loving the BTS sale - it's like Christmas! The brag tags look great! They're something I definitely want to try out!
