Shining Stars Linky Party: TPT Boost Sale

I have to be honest, during the last Back To School Sale I wasn't quite ready...I have been trying so hard to hold onto every scrap of summer that I can! However, the inevitable is coming-I start back next week! Don't get me wrong, I am very excited to see all my students and colleagues again. I am just not looking forward to the mountains of paperwork that seem inevitable! Plus, I swear, coffee tastes better when you can drink it in your pajamas out of a coffee mug instead of a travel thermos!

Here are a few of my shining stars, if they appeal to you, stop by my store during the one day back to school sale and pick them up-my entire store will be 20% off (even the bundles) and when you use the TPT code, you will get them for 28% off!

Daily Conversation Starters

I love using these DAILY CONVERSATION STARTERS with my students because they are so versatile! They can be used to target a wide variety of skills and I love learning more about my students! They are also a great way to help establish a routine during therapy OR to fill time if you have a few extra minutes at the end of a session!

EMOTIONS Mega Unit

In case you are new to Speechasaurus, welcome and let me fill you in on a little secret. I am very passionate about helping students build their social skills so they can be more successful in their daily interactions with their teachers, peers, and families. This EMOTIONS Mega Unit is something that I hold near and dear to my heart. It was created to help students move beyond "happy" and "sad" to more appropriately identify their emotions and the emotions of others. I also have an emotions FREEBIE you can grab here if you are interested!

NO PREP Speech and Language Field Trip Companion-Any Field Trip

There are certain times of the year that feel like “field trip season”. These times can be frustrating because kids are missing therapy, but instead of getting flustered because the kids are gone let’s capitalize on their new experiences! They will likely be eager to share information about their trip, and this packet provides PRINT AND GO activities that target a wide variety of speech and language skills. I am no expert on the Common Core, but many of the states we work in have adopted it. Did you know that The Common Core State Standards address asking and answering questions, nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, persuading, comparing, contrasting, working cooperatively (social skills), attributes (describing words), writing, sequencing, and informing along with a variety of other skills? Did you know this packet full of activities does the same thing?! These activities were designed to be used with therapy groups, individually with students, or as whole class push-in therapy activities! These would be great language activities to share with your regular education counterparts
